Semki offers supportive day programs designed to promote independence, personal growth, social connection, and meaningful participation. Our programs currently include Supported Community Connections (SCC) and Transportation Services. Through these services, participants can take part in creative arts, sensory activities, adaptive recreation, brain games, community outings, social activities, and daily living skill development.

Supported Community Connections (SCC) is a person-centered program focused on helping individuals build confidence, independence, social connections, and everyday skills. Participants work toward their individual goals while taking part in engaging activities such as creative arts, sensory activities, adaptive recreation, brain games, and community outings. The program is designed to encourage skill development while creating opportunities for meaningful relationships and participation in the community.

Semki provides a variety of activities based on participants’ interests, goals, and support needs. Daily activities may include independent living skills, communication and social skills, health and wellness, creative arts, recreational activities, and motor skill development. Participants may also enjoy community outings to places such as libraries, parks, shopping centers, water parks, and other local destinations.

Yes. Community outings are an important part of Semki’s programs. Participants have opportunities to explore and participate in their local community through activities and visits to destinations such as libraries, parks, shopping centers, water parks, and other local places. These experiences can provide opportunities to practice social, communication, independence, and everyday living skills in meaningful community settings.

Yes. Semki provides safe and reliable door-to-door transportation to help participants attend the program consistently. Transportation is available through Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) for Medicaid-eligible participants. This service is intended to provide dependable access to Semki’s programs while offering added convenience and peace of mind for families and caregivers.

Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) provides transportation support for eligible participants who need assistance accessing program-related activities and services. At Semki, transportation is available for Medicaid-eligible participants and is designed to help them attend the program consistently through safe, reliable, door-to-door transportation.
